We had such beautiful weather for Alexis’s senior photos at South Mesa Trailhead in Boulder, Colorado! After Chautauqua Park, South Mesa Trailhead might be the second-most iconic mountain view in the Boulder area. And it comes as no surprise. I mean, look at the backdrop for Alexis’s senior portraits! Alexis specifically chose South Mesa Trailhead because of the mountains there. Not only does South Mesa Trailhead have a fantastic view of the mountains, it also has a historic building and a beautiful wooden bridge.
South Mesa Trailhead is a fairly popular location, but I’ve never had an issue working around other visitors there. However, the parking lot does fill up quickly! So if you plan on taking your photos at South Mesa Trailhead (especially on a weekend), be sure to arrive early to allow time to find a parking spot or wait for one to open up.
Alexis brought her mom to her session, and both of them are such lovely people. Alexis and Natalia were both so sweet and were truly enjoyable to be around!
