I took the Stewart family photos at Sandstone Ranch on a cold and windy day in December. They were referred to me by a previous client, and I am so happy to have met such kind people! Despite the cold temperatures, we worked with the weather and had a great time together! Olivia is a rockstar mom and came prepared: she had everyone dressed in layers so they would all be more comfortable taking photos without their coats.
If you’re planning on taking your photos in the winter, I recommend Olivia’s strategy. Coats can be styled nicely for your family photos. However, if you don’t want coats in your portraits, layers are key. The heat from thermal layers under your outfit can go a long way!
