Erin and Tyler just welcomed their third baby, and I had the honor of photographing their spring family photos in an ethereal greenhouse about an hour outside of Denver. These two have immersed themselves in parenthood in the most beautiful way and are raising some of the sweetest kids. Erin and I met in first grade and have been friends since! She was one of my first clients when I started my photography business and I’ve been taking their family photos in Denver every year as they grow. Erin and Tyler moved their family out-of-state a couple of years ago, but they travel back to Colorado for sessions, and I’ve met them in Wyoming for one of them! I absolutely LOVE friendships that transcend time and distance, and our friendship makes these sessions even sweeter.
Erin styled her family with so much thought and intention and the results turned out beautifully! She chose outfits that were warm enough for the slightly chilly weather, but not overly warm for the greenhouse. We met at Blooms on 23 near Fort Collins. This was the first time I had been to Blooms on 23, but it’s been on my wish list of session locations for a while, so I was thrilled when Erin picked this spot. A greenhouse is an ideal location for spring family photos in Denver because you still get the beautiful golden hour light without having to stress over the weather. It’s an indoor location with outdoor vibes!
