Senior Portraits Near Red Rocks

I had the pleasure of taking Lily’s senior portraits near Red Rocks in the fall, and the combination of the golden grass and the red sandstone was *chef’s kiss*. When Lily’s mom first reached out, she mentioned that Lily was introverted and being the center of attention in front of the camera wasn’t exactly Lily’s idea of a good time. My goal is to help every client that steps in front of my camera feel comfortable and confident, so Lily and I were a great fit for each other. Many of my clients are camera-shy, so Lily was in good company! And so are you if you resonate with feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera.

If you’re a parent of an upcoming senior who feels the same way about their portrait session, it never hurts to invite friends or siblings to tag along! High school seniors often feel more relaxed with some of their friends around and those same friends know how to bring about genuine smiles. They know ALL of the you-had-to-be-there inside jokes!

Lily runs cross country and track in addition to keeping busy with school. Lily enjoys chemistry and might study it as she continues her education in college. One of my past clients, Kasey, referred Lily to me. You can see photos from Kasey’s session here. Lily, thank you so much for trusting me with your photos. I know it’s not always easy getting in front of the camera, but you made it look effortless! Here are some of my favorites from Lily’s senior portraits near Red Rocks.
