Grant and Robin’s proposal and engagement session in the sunflower field at Anderson Farms was one of my absolute favorites! It was so fun to be a part of that experience and watch Robin’s jaw drop when Grant surprised her by showing up unexpectedly in the sunflower field. Robin thought she was going to be sharing the evening picking flowers and taking a few photos in the sunflower field with her friend, Erica. Little did Robin know that Erica was just the decoy to get her to the field without suspecting that Grant was going to propose.

Grant played their song on a Bluetooth speaker he brought and wrote Robin the most beautiful letter so he wouldn’t forget what he wanted to say to her in the moment. Grant read the letter to Robin, and by the time he got down on one knee, the tears were flowing freely. Robin quickly accepted Grant’s proposal and all of us were beaming!

Grant rented one of the fire pits in the sunflower field so he and Robin could celebrate and enjoy the campfire among the sunflowers with a glass of bubbly (alcohol-free of course because Anderson Farms is a family-friendly farm and alcohol is not permitted). We ended the evening with engagement photos in the sunflower field and it was a night none of us will ever forget! Grant, thank you SO much for reaching out and trusting me with this moment. It was such an honor to capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience for you!
